How I Cured My Candida

One Woman's Story How She Beat Candida Yeast Infection

Green Super Smoothie For Health

The other day I was watching a video made by Leisa from Embracing Health. She was making a green smoothie with lots of super foods. She inspired me so much that today I had to make one of those for my breakfast!

My Green Smoothie Breakfast

Ingredients:

Big punch spinach leaves
1 small banana
1 C frozen raspberries
1 Tbs Chia seeds
2 tsp Maca powder
1 tsp raw Cacao
1 Tbs Coconut oil
Big glass of water

Mix all these ingredients in a blender, adjust water to wanted thickness, and voila – the perfect nutritious green smoothie full of vitamins, minerals, protein and good fats. Delicious!
This makes about 750 ml and I actually added a tiny bit of stevia into my second glass to get more sweetness to it.

With Candida it is best to leave banana out and add more berries and stevia. My Candida is in control at the moment so I thought that I’ll have my first banana in 6 months today. And it was good!

Here you can watch the Green Smoothie made by Leisa, maybe you’ll be inspired to make one too:

Chocolate Dessert With Candida Diet

Chocolate Dessert Recipe – Gluten, Dairy and Sugar Free

I have now followed the Candida Diet regime like a slave for a couple of months and I do miss some chocolate. This is why I have done some food experimenting and I’ve found an excellent ingredient that can be included in multiple recipes. It its the plain old Cauliflower! I have made pizza base, purees, meatballs and now chocolate dessert with it. I’ll share this recipe with you all because a girl needs to have her chocolate dessert every now and then even with a Candida diet, right?

Cauliflower Choc Dessert

Chocolate Dessert With Candida Diet

4 medium pieces of cauliflower, cooked, grated and cooled
3 Tbs coconut oil
2 Tbs raw cocoa powder
2-3 Tbs LSA mix
2-3 Tbs chopped nuts (walnut, pecan or brazil)
1/4 tsp stevia
cinnamon to taste
To decorate: shredded coconut, LSA mix or cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together to make a paste.  From this paste you can make either balls using spoons and hands or you can make any shape you like using a cookie cutter. Spoon directly on a dessert plate using for example a heart-shaped cookie cutter as a template. Use fingers to fill the shape tightly with the paste. Pull the cutter off carefully holding the dessert down with fingers. Decorate with cinnamon or shredded coconut. If you make dessert balls cover them all over by rolling them in LSA mix. Refrigerate the desserts until needed. They can be stored in refrigerator for 2-3 days. Enjoy this healthy and delicious choc dessert whenever you need a bit of extra energy!
